INFRASTRUCTURE
The "Benito Juarez" International Airport is just 20 minutes from downtown Oaxaca. There are several commercial flights daily from Mexico City on Aero Mexico, Mexicana and Aviacsa, and connections can be made with Aero Caribe for flights to Huatulco and Puerto Escondido, as well as the cities of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas; Villa Hermosa, Tabasco; Merida, Yucatan and Cancun, Quintana Roo on Aero Caribe and Aviacsa.

The highway network in the state of Oaxaca now has a high-speed "super-highway" (OAXACA - TEHUACAN), which reduces the distance between the city of Oaxaca and Mexico, Puebla and Veracruz.
